Monday Motivation - Let Positivity Lead You

ree

Happy Monday, IABX community!

This Monday, let’s remind ourselves of something important:

We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond.

Joel Osteen once said:

“No matter what's happening, choose to be happy. Don't focus on what's wrong. Find something positive in your life.”

At first, that might sound easier said than done—especially when life feels overwhelming, unfair, or uncertain. But choosing to be happy doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means looking for the good, even in the middle of the hard stuff.

Maybe today you're tired, stressed, or facing something difficult. That’s okay. Those feelings are real, and they matter. But in the middle of it, can you pause for just a moment and ask yourself:

👉 What’s something good in my life right now?

It could be something small—a kind text from a friend, the way the sun feels on your face, a memory that makes you smile, or the simple fact that you made it through another day.

Focusing on what’s right doesn’t mean ignoring what’s wrong. It means not giving all your attention to the negative. When you shift your focus—even just a little—you give your heart and mind a break. You let yourself breathe. You give yourself permission to hope again.

And here’s the truth: there’s always something positive, even if it’s small.

🌼 A new day.

🌼 A chance to try again.

🌼 Someone who cares.

🌼 A dream you’re working toward.

🌼 A moment of peace in the middle of the noise.

So this week, whenever things start to feel too heavy, remind yourself:

You have the power to choose joy.

Even if everything isn’t perfect. Even if it’s just for a moment.

Start there—and let that small moment grow.

Have a peaceful, positive, and hopeful Monday!

You’ve got this. 💛
