The Literacy Intervention and Enrichment Program (LIEP) is a small group, short term, intensive and immersive intervention program geared at supplementing the lessons taught in the classroom. We work with children in the 5th and 6th grade who are 1 to 2 grade levels behind that are struggling both with reading and comprehension and bringing them up to grade level.​

Parent Meeting - February 6, 2025 @ 7pm
Program Begins - February 15, 2025 @10am
Program Ends - May 17, 2025
LIEP is designed to reintroduce the child to subject areas that will enhance the learning process while engaging them with leveled books.

LIEP will engage students by increasing the level of comprehension with close reading.
​
​
LIEP will encourage each child to read daily with a minimum of 30 minutes and to gradually increase the volume of reading as the program progresses.
​
Each child in the program will be closely monitored to ensure that they are meeting the goals set during this intensive program and are grasping the content being taught.
