Happy Monday, IABX community!
This Monday, let’s slow down and be present with what’s happening right now.
There’s a quote by Allen Saunders that reminds us:
“Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans.”
Most of us live with a long list of things to do—plans for the day, goals for the month, and dreams for the future. We think about what’s next and what needs to get done. Planning is a good thing. But sometimes, we get so caught up in thinking ahead that we forget to notice what’s happening around us right now.
Life isn’t just the big events or the end results. It’s also the little things in between—morning coffee, a walk outside, a call from a friend, a quiet moment to yourself, or even the challenges that teach us something new.
The truth is, while we’re busy organizing tomorrow, today is quietly passing by.
This week, try to pay more attention to the moments in front of you:
Laugh when something’s funny, even if your to-do list is full.
Take a few deep breaths before jumping into your next task.
Be fully present in conversations with people you care about.
Appreciate where you are—even if it’s not perfect yet.
You can still chase your goals and plan ahead. Just don’t forget to live today while doing it.
Have a peaceful, mindful Monday—and a week filled with moments that make you smile in the middle of the busyness. 💛
Have a great week!
